USA U18 Wins Gold at the 2012 IIHF World Championship

April 22, 2012

BRNO, Czech Republic - The U.S. Men's National Under-18 Team, the first in the world to adopt the Hockey IntelliGym back in 2009, defeated Sweden, 7-0, to secure their 4th (!) consecutive IIHF World Championship title.

Science & Research

The technology implemented in the Hockey IntelliGym™ is the same as originally used for fighter pilots in the air force and the Basketball IntelliGym™.
The first teams to use the Hockey IntelliGym™ were the U-17 and U-18 National Teams of the National Team Development Program (NTDP) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The final product will be available for the entire ice-hockey community in the winter of 2010. Built with personalization mechanism, the Hockey IntelliGym™ adopts to the strengths and weaknesses of each and every player, to guarantee the most effective training experience.
